新国展位于北京顺义天竺空港城商务区。它的总规划用地155.5公顷，地上总建筑面积66万平方米，其中展馆及附属设施地上建筑面积40万平方米（展馆室内地上总使用面积20万平方米），综合配套设置地上建筑面积26万平方米。新展馆在建筑上吸收了德国、美国和西班牙风格的精华，并结合我国的展览特点，形成了经济实用的独特风格。除能举办所有的重型、轻型国际性专业展会外，它的多功能综合展馆还可以举行大型的集会、演唱会和室内体育比赛等。

北京市副市长陈钢表示：落成后的新国展将成为北京市规模最大，功能最为完善的展览中心。展馆在布展净高、馆内舒适度、馆廊设计和综合展位箱等设计上，不仅在国内领先，在国际上也属先进。中国贸促会汽车行业分会副会长王侠向记者说：“对新展馆的感觉非常好，这是目前国内最好的展馆。新国展的落成，将给北京车展带来历史性的转变。展览面积的增大，意味着容纳的观众多了。这为车展提供了无限的发展空间。”

新国展的建成，将有效改变北京市目前大型现代化展馆不足的状况，有力地带动北京服务业等相关产业的发展，对提升北京形象、推动北京向国际会展大都市迈进都将具有重要意义。

The New Nation Xhibition is located in the commercial district of airport city in Tianzhu, Shunyi of Beijing。Its program area covers 155.5 hectares in total。The general construct area of ground takes up 660,000 square meters, in which exhibition hall and attached facility ground covers 400,000 square meters (in exhibition hall,the inland ground total area uses 200,000 square meters), synthesis necessary establishment ground covers 260,000 square meters. The New Exhibition hall absorbed German, American and the Spanish style essence in the construction, unifies our country's display characteristics and has formed the economical practical unique style. Besides conducting all heavy and light international characteristic specialized meets, its multi-purpose synthesis exhibition hall may also hold in the large-scale assembly, ?the concert、the room athletic contest and so on. 　
Beijing Deputy Mayor Chen Gang indicated that, the New Nation Xhibition to be completed will become the exhibition center of Beijing with the biggest scale and the most perfect function。The clear height of the exhibition hall、 the comfort level、the hall porch design and the synthesis exhibition?designs in position box and so on, are not only in the lead in domestic , but also internationally advanced. Chinese Trade association Automobile Profession Branch Vice-chairman Wang Xia said to reporter that he felt extremely good to the new exhibition hall, this
is the best exhibition hall of our country at present. The new nation exhibition being completed will ?bring historical transformation to Beijing vehicle exhibition. The enlargement of display area make it possible to accommodate more audience. This provide the infinite development space for Beijing vehicle exhibition.”

The establishment of The New Nation Xhibition will effectively change the condition which Beijing Large-scale Modernized Exhibition hall is insufficient at present, it will also powerfully lead the development of Beijing service industry and correlation industries；Finally it has the vital significance to promote Beijing image, to impel Beijing to make great strides forward to the metropolis of international xhibition。
